Position: Field Service Technician

Location: Honolulu, Hawaii

Pay: 32.90

Contract to hire



Position Description

Installs, operates, maintains, repairs, and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support tasks on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problems in the minimum possible time. Installs, upgrades, and removes products, ensuring coordination of engineering field changes. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training for customer support personnel. Customer interaction will include both face-to-face and phone support. Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with Office 365, Windows 11, and Linux systems.


Skills Required

  • Customer service experience
  • Proficiency in MS Windows 11
  • Experience with MS Office 365 applications
  • Experience with MS Teams
  • Understanding of Linux
  • Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP phones


Experience Required

  • 2–3 years of technical experience
  • 3–4 years of customer service experience


Education Required

  • High school diploma and 3 to 4 years of work experience, or equivalent experience
