Job Summary
A leading provider of secure, mission-critical technology for military and defense is seeking an Associate RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Technician for the Returns organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to contribute to the ongoing growth of a dynamic company.
Job Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair advanced, ruggedized computer configurations and servers.
- Perform physical repairs on servers and related equipment.
- Follow build manuals, written instructions, best practices, and guidelines for quality assurance in wiring, cabling, and system configuration.
- Complete required information for hardware configuration and troubleshooting, document defective equipment, and update repair status accurately and thoroughly within ERP systems.
- Perform final computer testing using internal scripts.
- Take ownership for the quality and quantity of servers repaired.
- Transport computers safely to and from workstations, following quality and safety guidelines.
- Work both independently and as part of a team to meet organizational goals.
- Flexibility to work overtime, including some Saturdays, as business needs require.

Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years’ relevant experience.
- Experience troubleshooting and testing ruggedized computing systems.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow written, verbal, and visual work instructions.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure in a multitasking environment.
- Demonstrated professionalism under pressure.
- Basic reading and writing in English, with strong arithmetic skills.
- US Citizenship is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of testing in a Linux environment.
- Associate’s Degree.
- Relevant computer certifications.
Additional Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Ability to work with general instruction on daily activities.
- Basic reading and writing in English.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
- Able to transport computers (up to 50 lbs.) to and from workstations using provided wheeled carts.
- Work performed in the Returns Department at an ESD workstation, using required tools for physical repairs and network testing.
