Electrical Design Engineer (Early Career)
Location: Holland, MI (Onsite)
Salary: $75,000–$95,000 + Profit Sharing

We’re seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to help develop and enhance control systems used in high-capacity automated equipment. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to new designs, and see your work move from concept to production.

What You’ll Do
- Design and develop electrical circuits for automated control systems (motors, sensors, push buttons, safety devices, etc.)
- Create electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and field wiring diagrams
- Support the development of engineering standards, templates, and documentation
- Partner with manufacturing and panel-build teams to bring designs to life
- Assist with troubleshooting, testing, and system improvements
- Contribute to product enhancements and new technology initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls, or related Engineering field
- 0–5 years of experience or relevant internships/co-ops
- Experience with AutoCAD Electrical
- Interest in industrial controls, automation, or electromechanical systems

Nice to Have
- Control panel or industrial equipment design exposure
- UL or industrial compliance familiarity
- Experience with sensors, motors, PLC-related systems, or automation
Work Environment
- Onsite engineering and manufacturing setting (Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm)
- Combination of office design work and shop-floor collaboration
- Minimal travel
- Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs and work around active equipment
