Painter

Pay Rate: $18/hr

Schedule: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a production or industrial environment and be familiar with spray painting equipment, safety standards, and shop procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and provide daily direction to team members performing painting duties on assigned projects.
• Operate and maintain all spray painting equipment, ensuring proper setup and quality finishes.
• Manage and track paint inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Adhere to all safety, environmental, and technical standards related to painting operations.
• Perform hands-on painting tasks as needed to support production schedules.
• Collaborate with shop leaders to maintain efficient workflow and project completion.
• Assist with additional shop duties as required, including crane or hi-lo operation, loading, and moving large equipment.
• Support shipping and receiving operations as necessary.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial painting is required.
• Knowledge of paint mixing, surface preparation, and spray application techniques.
• Ability to read and follow work orders and safety procedures.
• Must have personal paint smock or protective clothing.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
