About the Role

A leading defense and aerospace company is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support advanced military and combat vehicle programs. In this role, you will help design, test, integrate, and support electrical systems used in defense technologies, weapon systems, and military platforms.

You will work alongside project engineering teams to support system design, troubleshooting, analysis, and product development from concept through field deployment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and evaluate electrical and electronic systems
  • Support electrical integration for combat vehicles, weapon systems, and military equipment
  • Create and maintain:
  • Product specifications
  • Technical documentation
  • Integration procedures
  • Verification and validation documents
  • Develop and review:
  • Electrical schematics
  • Interconnect drawings
  • Interface control documents
  • Perform circuit analysis and simulations using tools such as PSpice or LTspice
  • Support system modeling, simulation, troubleshooting, and testing activities
  • Analyze electrical components, subsystems, and full system architectures
  • Evaluate vendor products, technologies, and technical capabilities
  • Communicate technical findings and engineering recommendations to internal teams and customers


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with:
  • Analog and digital circuit design
  • Circuit analysis and simulation
  • Reading and creating electrical schematics
  • Technical documentation, reports, and engineering analysis
  • Ability to solve moderately complex engineering and design challenges
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills


Preferred Qualifications

Experience with the following tools and technologies:

  • MATLAB
  • Simulink
  • PSpice
  • LabVIEW
  • OrCAD
  • Visio

Familiarity with programming languages such as:

  • C
  • C#
  • LabWindows/CVI

Additional experience with military or commercial design standards is a plus.
