Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced ERP Business Analyst to support enterprise system enhancements, business process improvements, and ERP-driven transformation initiatives. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and ERP resources to analyze requirements, improve workflows, and ensure successful deployment of system enhancements.
The ideal candidate brings strong ERP experience (SAP preferred), excellent analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, document, and analyze business requirements for ERP enhancements and projects
- Partner with subject matter experts and business teams to optimize workflows and system usage
- Support ERP system implementations, upgrades, customizations, and integrations
- Lead change management activities including testing, validation, deployment, and documentation
- Coordinate ERP-related workshops and process mapping sessions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using ERP functionality and third-party applications
- Provide end-user training and ongoing system support
- Troubleshoot ERP issues and manage system support tickets
- Collaborate with IT, business units, and external ERP resources
- Maintain change control documentation and system integrity
- Support cybersecurity best practices and system access controls
- Assist with project management activities across multiple concurrent initiatives
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of ERP Business Analyst or ERP systems experience
- Experience working with SAP (SAP Business One preferred) or comparable ERP platforms
- Strong business process analysis and requirements gathering experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience supporting ERP testing, deployment, and system enhancements
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, or operations ERP experience
- SQL, reporting tools, or business intelligence experience
- Project management or Lean/Continuous Improvement background
- Cybersecurity fundamentals related to enterprise systems
- ERP certification or formal business analysis training
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Work Environment & Schedule
- Primarily office-based with extended screen time
- Occasional extended hours, weekends, or off-hours support may be required during system upgrades or deployments
