Purchasing Coordinator

Location: Oshkosh, WI

Type: 6-Month Contract (potential to extend based on business needs)

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM CST (100% onsite, no hybrid/remote)\

Pay: $24-25/hr


About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Coordinator to join our team in Oshkosh. In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting our purchasing department, ensuring that goods and services are procured efficiently, accurately, and on time. You’ll collaborate with suppliers and internal teams, manage purchase order activities, and help keep our supply chain running smoothly. What You’ll Do

  • Process purchase order deferrals, expedites, and cancellations to keep projects on track.
  • Run and analyze reports for unacknowledged and past-due orders.
  • Review supplier portals, updating and adjusting purchase order data as needed.
  • Generate purchase order activity reports and share updates with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and respond to daily supply chain communications.
  • Oversee advanced shipping notifications to ensure accurate delivery planning.
  • Communicate directly with suppliers regarding purchase order status and invoice processing.
  • Update ERP systems with purchase order details and changes.
  • Partner with materials teams to resolve supplier receiving issues and manage returns.


What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least one year of relevant experience in purchasing, supply chain, or administrative support.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and handling large datasets.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Purchasing, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Experience in purchasing within a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong follow-through, with the ability to adapt in a fast-changing environment.
  • Team player with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
