Studio Property Lead

Warren, MI (100% Onsite)

Up to $45/hour (based on experience and education)

We are seeking a Studio Property Lead to support the development of both digital and physical properties used throughout the vehicle design process. In this role, you'll create high-quality digital armatures, prepare CAD data for fabrication, and collaborate closely with design, engineering, and model shop teams to deliver studio assets from concept through execution.


What You'll Do:

  • Create digital armature models and prepare CAD data for prototyping and fabrication
  • Support interior and exterior studio activities, including high-priority executive requests
  • Develop high-quality 3D CAD models and hard models for studio properties
  • Prepare drawings and documentation for downstream fabrication teams
  • Collaborate with design, engineering, and clay modeling teams to ensure successful property builds
  • Support SLA parts creation, prototype builds, and model quality assessments
  • Manage data and releases using TeamCenter, SharePoint, and related systems
  • Contribute to creative problem-solving in a fast-paced studio environment


What We're Looking For:

  • Strong proficiency in NX, particularly advanced surfacing
  • Experience with TeamCenter and CAD data management
  • Ability to translate design intent into accurate 3D models
  • Understanding of vehicle configuration, ground line systems, and occupant packaging
  • Knowledge of ergonomics, vehicle proportions, and basic physics principles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience supporting both interior and exterior vehicle development
  • Authorized to work in the US without any Visa sponsorship now or in the future
