Position Overview

The Property Control Representative is responsible for managing warehouse storage and maintaining accurate records of property, equipment, and materials. This role ensures compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements while supporting efficient inventory and asset management operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of property, equipment, and materials
  • Track and report inventory levels, asset movements, and disposals
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to property control
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to verify accuracy and completeness of records
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve discrepancies, including missing, damaged, or surplus assets
  • Support warehouse storage and inventory control operations
  • Collaborate with internal teams and government property representatives as needed
  • Generate reports and perform data analysis to support business decisions
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Required Skills

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with property or inventory management systems

Preferred Skills

  • Prior experience working with government property or regulated environments
  • Experience with process improvement initiatives

Required Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in warehouse management, property control, or a related field
  • Experience maintaining inventory and asset tracking systems
  • Experience supporting audits and compliance activities

Education

  • High school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment

Compensation & Benefits (SCA Role)

  • This position is governed by the Service Contract Act (SCA)
