Sourcing Analyst

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Sourcing Analyst to provide tactical and analytical support to the Sourcing team. This role is responsible for supporting purchasing initiatives, maintaining supplier data, tracking sourcing projects, analyzing supply chain information, and ensuring sourcing activities align with cost, quality, and delivery objectives.

The ideal candidate has experience in purchasing or supply chain operations, enjoys working with data, and possesses strong analytical and organizational skills. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams while supporting sourcing strategies that drive operational excellence.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours

Work Arrangement: Fully Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Sourcing & Purchasing Support

  • Provide tactical and administrative support to the Sourcing team.
  • Assist with sourcing activities while considering the impact on the end-to-end supply chain.
  • Support the execution of sourcing strategies that optimize cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Help establish new parts and supplier information within ERP systems.
  • Ensure sourcing processes and procedures are consistently followed.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Generate recurring monthly reports and dashboards.
  • Track sourcing projects and communicate progress to stakeholders.
  • Analyze purchasing, supplier, and market data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
  • Support price benchmarking, market analysis, vendor analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with data modeling and sourcing analytics to support business decisions.

Supplier & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Build and maintain productive relationships with suppliers and internal business partners.
  • Support supplier management initiatives and sourcing projects.
  • Participate in sourcing and commodity strategy activities.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to support purchasing objectives.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for sourcing leadership.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes and operational efficiency.
  • Support negotiations and contract activities as assigned.
  • Assist with supplier capacity planning and sourcing initiatives throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Maintain awareness of compliance requirements and proactively identify potential sourcing risks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or supply chain operations (purchasing experience preferred).
  • Experience working with ERP systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting strategic sourcing or commodity management.
  • Experience with supplier relationship management.
  • Knowledge of sourcing methodologies and procurement best practices.
