Job Title: Production Supervisor
Summary: The primary role of the Production Supervisor is to oversee and coordinate the activities of production and operating workers to ensure efficient and quality production.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recommend measures to motivate employees and improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency.
- Review operations and confer with technical or administrative staff to resolve production or processing problems.
- Develop and implement production tracking and quality control systems; analyze production, quality control, and maintenance to detect production problems.
- Hire, train, evaluate, and discharge staff, resolving personal grievances.
- Prepare and maintain production reports and personnel records.
Skills:
- Strong verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Familiarity with machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
- Understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience required.
