Electrical Wiring Technician (High Voltage Preferred)

Location: Allen Park, MI

Contract: Long-term (12+ months)

Schedule: 1st shift (645am - 330pm)

Compensation: $16 to 27/hour + PTO and optional benefits

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Electrical Wiring Technicians to join our team in a long-term opportunity. This role focuses on wire harness assembly, quality, and collaboration within a team-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow work instructions, including prints, cut sheets, and sample harnesses
• Assemble wiring harnesses using hand tools and proper techniques
• Collaborate with small teams to meet daily production goals
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Track inventory of project parts and supplies
• Perform quality inspections and validation of wire harness assemblies
• Complete teardown and/or rework of donor harnesses
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Deliver high-quality products and services

Qualifications

• 1+ year of wire harness assembly experience
• Reliable transportation
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in wire prep, crimping, soldering, and de-pinning
• Ability to read and interpret wiring prints and cut sheets
• Accurate measurement skills
• Experience using a multimeter
• Basic computer skills
• Strong communication skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to cross-train

Preferred Experience

• Automotive high-voltage experience
