Training Administrator / Coordinator

💰 Pay: $30–35 per hour

Position Summary
The Training Administrator/Coordinator supports the planning, coordination, and execution of training programs that enhance employee development and ensure regulatory compliance. As a key member of the Training Team, this role manages scheduling, logistics, communications, and recordkeeping to deliver a seamless training experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Training Coordination & Scheduling
- Schedule and organize in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and lab reservations.
- Manage logistics for training rooms, including setup, equipment, and materials.
- Prepare rosters, supplies, and job aids for training sessions and vendors.
- Maintain and communicate training calendars, avoiding scheduling conflicts.
- Coordinate and distribute training announcements, reminders, and updates.
- Support New Hire Orientation logistics and participant communications.
- Track attendance, send invites, distribute surveys, and compile feedback.
Records & Reporting
- Maintain accurate records and certifications in the Learning Management System (LMS).
- Generate reports to track compliance, participation, and training completion.
- Ensure documentation meets internal and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in training coordination, administration, or scheduling.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (M365, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with LMS platforms and reporting tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Education, or related field—or equivalent experience.
Preferred Experience
- Background in safety, manufacturing, or corporate training environments.
- Familiarity with virtual learning tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx).
- Experience working with facilitators, vendors, or external training providers.
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
- Occasional travel (up to 10%) between company locations.
- May require work in industrial environments and PPE use.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and logistics in a fast-paced setting.
- Light lifting of training materials or supplies may be required.
