6-month contract → direct hire opportunity
Schedule Options:
Front Half: Sun–Wed (1st or 2nd shift)
Back Half: Wed–Sat (1st or 2nd shift)
M–F option available (2nd shift only)

This is a great opportunity for a recent biology or life-science graduate to gain hands-on experience in a modern genomics laboratory. As a Lab Technician I, you’ll work with DNA samples, automated lab systems, and molecular biology workflows that support real-world scientific research and customer projects. You’ll build valuable skills in high-throughput lab operations, instrumentation, and data quality—while working alongside experienced scientists in a collaborative environment.
What You’ll Do
- Prepare biological samples and reagents for genomic testing workflows
- Perform DNA extraction, isolation, and basic quality checks
- Operate automated lab equipment such as liquid handlers and multichannel pipettes
- Generate and review initial assay data from genomic platforms
- Document work in laboratory systems (LIMS), notebooks, and tracking logs
- Maintain lab supplies, reagents, and inventory
- Calibrate instruments and support routine maintenance
- Follow established SOPs, ISO, and safety standards
- Contribute ideas to improve lab efficiency and workflows
- Assist with onboarding or training of new team members over time
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or related life science
- Academic or internship lab experience (coursework labs count)
- Familiarity with DNA extraction, PCR, or basic molecular biology methods
- Careful attention to detail and ability to follow procedures
- Interest in laboratory technology, automation, or genomics
- Comfortable working in a structured, high-throughput environment
