Scheduling and Logistics Technician
Position Summary
The Scheduling and Logistics Technician is responsible for receiving, reviewing, and processing customer orders while maintaining customer web portals and supporting plant production scheduling activities. This role serves as a key point of contact for scheduling, logistics, purchasing coordination, and customer communication to help ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, review, and process incoming customer orders through email and customer web portals
- Maintain and utilize multiple OEM customer web portals within a team-based environment
- Coordinate with Plant Managers and production personnel to schedule and prioritize customer orders
- Work closely with Shipping and Quality departments to support customer carrier requirements and logistics changes
- Coordinate purchasing activities for manufacturing materials, including:
- Raw materials
- Production supplies
- Office supplies
- Janitorial products
- Other facility consumables
- Assist with accounts receivable processing and follow up with customers regarding past due balances
- Support communication between internal departments, suppliers, carriers, and customers to maintain production flow and delivery schedules
- Assist with schedule adjustments and changing customer demands as needed
Additional Responsibilities
- Answer incoming phone calls and greet visitors
- Provide administrative and operational support across departments as needed
- Assist with various plant and office support functions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience working with OEM customer web portals required
- Direct experience with Ford Motor Company web portals strongly preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and navigate multiple customer systems and web portals
- Prior experience with raw material purchasing is a plus

PR: $26.00-32.00/hr + OT
