Project Manager – Bradley A4E1 Program

Location: Temple, TX

Schedule: Full-time onsite | 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off)

Travel: Up to 20%


Position Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) business unit in Temple, TX. This role supports the Bradley A4E1 Program and is responsible for managing vehicle and hardware deliveries to ensure contract requirements are met on schedule and within budget.


The Project Manager will oversee program execution related to U.S. Army Bradley post-production integration efforts, coordinating across multiple functional teams to ensure operational success and customer satisfaction. This position reports directly to the Bradley A4E1 Program Manager and requires strong leadership, communication, and project execution skills in a high-tempo environment.


Key Responsibilities

Program Execution

  • Support program execution to achieve cost, schedule, and technical performance objectives while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the flow of vehicles and hardware into the facility to support on-time contract deliverables.
  • Oversee on-site program activities related to Bradley post-production integration efforts.
  • Ensure completion of project deliverables and on-time delivery of program milestones.

Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and coordinate a matrixed team across functional areas including Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Contracts, and Finance.
  • Provide indirect leadership to cross-functional teams to achieve program objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, industry partners, and suppliers across multiple sites.

Project Planning & Management

  • Develop and manage program and project plans, including scheduling, staffing, resource allocation, risk identification, and contingency planning.
  • Maintain and manage integrated program schedules that consolidate multiple projects across contracts.
  • Proactively identify and manage program risks and opportunities.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as a primary point of contact between BAE Systems, customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
  • Present project status and updates during program and technical reviews with customers and internal leadership.
  • Communicate effectively across teams and time zones to maintain program alignment.

Performance Management

  • Identify performance gaps relative to customer expectations or program objectives.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans to address performance gaps.
  • Track program performance using metrics and ensure alignment with cost, schedule, and quality goals.
  • Ensure projects meet financial commitments related to orders, sales, profit, and cash performance.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience with project planning, execution, monitoring, and control processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage and report on project schedules and budgets
  • Experience delivering status reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking skills
  • Ability to perform in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree and 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional certification such as:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Program Management Professional (PgMP)
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)

Work Environment

This position operates in a high-tempo defense manufacturing environment supporting critical U.S. Army programs. The role requires collaboration across multiple teams, partners, and suppliers to deliver complex defense systems on schedule and within budget.
