Job Summary
Serves as the first point of contact with customers to promote quality customer service and assist with increasing business within the branch location. Builds positive relationships with customers, manages inquiries, and provides administrative support while ensuring a high standard of professionalism and efficiency.
Responsibilities & Tasks
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers, both on the phone and in-person at the branch.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key customers.
- Assess customers’ needs, gather pertinent information, and respond to inquiries, resolving basic issues as appropriate.
- Create basic work orders in relevant systems and provide status updates to customers as requested.
- Field and respond to incoming customer calls and handle customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
- Process payments and manage billing-related tasks as needed.
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties (data entry, filing, document preparation).
- Maintain accurate records by capturing customer, equipment, and technical information in service management systems.
- Utilize available hardware and software tools to troubleshoot issues, document findings, and escalate technical issues when necessary.
- Ensure all claims, documentation, and communications comply with established procedures and requirements.
Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education, or equivalent experience.
- At least 1 year of relevant customer service experience preferred.
- Strong soft skills including effective communication, patience, professionalism, and dependability.
- Comfortable using phone systems for inbound and outbound communication.
- Technical aptitude or background is a plus.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to process payments, manage billing, and perform administrative tasks accurately.
- Familiarity with service management systems and electronic tools is beneficial.
- May require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
