Spare Parts Coordinator (Maintenance Support)

Hours: 1st shift - 6:30a-3:00p; OT is as needed, but usually about 10 hours a week

Long-term contract with benefits

$35-40/hr


Position Overview

We are seeking a Spare Parts Coordinator to support stamping operations at a high-volume manufacturing facility. This role is focused on ensuring critical spare parts are properly managed, organized, and available to keep press lines running efficiently.

This is not a production or breakdown role—this person is the one making sure the team has what they need before things go wrong.

Key Responsibilities

Spare Parts Management

  • Maintain and organize spare parts inventory to support stamping press operations
  • Ensure parts are properly stored, labeled, and accessible within designated locations
  • Track inventory levels and identify gaps to prevent downtime

Cross-Functional Support

  • Interface with maintenance group leaders, controls engineers, and skilled trades
  • Support maintenance teams by ensuring required parts are available for planned work
  • Communicate inventory needs and shortages proactively

Operational Support

  • Assist in improving organization and processes related to spare parts management
  • Support efforts to maintain uptime across multiple press lines
  • Contribute to overall efficiency of stamping operations

Qualifications

Education

  • Associate’s degree preferred
  • (Strong maintenance experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in a maintenance or manufacturing environment
  • Experience supporting industrial equipment or production operations

Required Skills

  • Strong maintenance background (mechanical and/or industrial)
  • Experience with spare parts inventory or materials management
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with maintenance and engineering teams
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with automation or industrial equipment
  • Background in stamping, press operations, or heavy manufacturing

Work Environment & Schedule

  • On-site role in a manufacturing environment
  • 1st Shift: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Overtime available (~10 hours/week as needed)
