Position Summary

We are seeking experienced Aerospace Assembly Technicians to support prototype manufacturing and integration activities during a planned production surge. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced development environment, working with advanced aerospace hardware and engineering teams to build, integrate, and support prototype systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform hands-on assembly, integration, and support of aerospace hardware
  • Build and install components using engineering drawings, work instructions, and technical guidance
  • Support prototype manufacturing activities in a rapid development environment
  • Assist with hardware integration, troubleshooting, and rework as needed
  • Maintain high standards for quality, safety, and documentation
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and production staff

Required Qualifications

  • Experience in aerospace and/or defense manufacturing or assembly
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience building or supporting aerospace hardware
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced prototype or development environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • IPC-A-610 and/or IPC-620 certification
  • FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certification
  • Military aviation or aircraft maintenance background
  • Avionics experience, including integration, wiring, troubleshooting, or test

Compliance & Eligibility

  • ITAR eligibility strongly preferred
  • Experience working in regulated aerospace, defense, or aviation environments is a plus

Contract Details

  • Duration: 1–4 months
  • Potential Extension: Through August–September 2026 based on project needs
  • Engagement Type: Short-term surge support with rapid onboarding
