Packaging Automation/Machinery Specialist

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Salary: $100,000–$120,000 base DOE + comprehensive benefits

Our client, a trusted leader in custom packaging solutions, has been delivering innovative packaging equipment to top-tier clients, including Fortune 500 companies, for over 50 years. They serve a broad range of industries such as consumer packaged goods, e-commerce, retail food, automotive, electronics, cosmetics, and more. Due to their continued growth, they are seeking a Packaging Automation/Machinery Specialist to join their Grand Prairie, TX team. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and customer-facing skills to support the sales team in designing, sourcing, quoting, and selling state-of-the-art packaging machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the technical advisor for the sales team, providing packaging equipment/machinery solutions.
• Participate in customer meetings to present technical solutions and support deal closures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs align with customer requirements.
• Leverage knowledge of packaging machinery to source and quote customized solutions.
• Serve as the go-to technical liaison between sales, engineering, and customers.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 4–8 years of experience in packaging machinery or related equipment.
• Expertise in designing, sourcing, quoting, and selling proprietary packaging machinery.
• Sales-savvy and comfortable with customer-facing responsibilities.
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working in industries such as CPG, e-commerce, food and beverage, or automotive.
• Familiarity with packaging equipment types such as those listed at this reference link.
• Proven ability to work as a liaison between sales and engineering teams.

Interview Process:

• Two interview rounds followed by a plant tour.
