Job Title: Tax Manager (International)

Location: Torrance, CA (Hybrid)

Schedule: Fulltime, Remote

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager with a strong background in international tax to join our growing team in Torrance, CA. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing complex tax issues, providing tax planning and compliance services to multinational clients, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of multinational clients, providing tax planning and compliance services.
• Prepare and review complex tax returns, including international tax forms.
• Research and analyze tax laws and regulations.
• Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities.
• Assist with tax audits and controversy matters.
• Supervise and mentor tax staff.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients and tax authorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
• MBA degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in international tax, preferably with a Big 4 accounting firm or multinational corporation.
• Strong knowledge of US and international tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with tax research software and technology.
