Schedule: Full-time, Onsite, Nights with Rotating Weekends
Pay Rate: 2 YR: 30.69- 5 YR: 33.71-17 YR: 43.20 Max (Night Differential: 4.25. & Weekend differential 3.00)
Sign On: Yes - $20,000
7:1 nurse-to-patient ratio; no remote work; BLS required; Compact or FL state RN license required within 90 days of hire
The Client:
A leading acute care facility within a national hospital network, this client is known for its commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care. The facility operates a 45-bed inpatient surgical unit and is expanding its nursing team due to increased patient volume and operational growth. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance of the facility, as those living over 60 minutes away will not be considered. Local, in-person interviews are required, and may include a facility tour, shadowing, and meetings with administration.
Description:
This is a valuable opportunity for an experienced RN to join a high-acuity surgical unit within a supportive and clinically progressive hospital environment. Nurses in this unit provide hands-on post-operative care, monitor complex surgical patients, and collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented nurse who thrives in fast-paced settings and is confident managing a 7:1 patient load. The position offers strong clinical exposure and opportunities for advancement within the hospital system.
A generous sign-on bonus of $20,000 is offered, and relocation support is considered on a case-by-case basis. Additional compensation is available for night and weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of acute care RN experience (LTAC experience may be considered)
- Active Florida RN license or Compact RN license (with FL licensure required within 90 days)
- Current BLS certification
- Comfortable with a 7:1 patient-to-nurse ratio
- Must reside within 60 minutes of the facility
- Strong interpersonal and patient care communication skills
- Willing to participate in an in-person interview process
