Reputable medical center in Carlsbad, NM, has planned to hire 4 newly graduated Physical Therapists to join their team in both outpatient and inpatient care settings.
This opportunity is perfect for newly graduated PT's wanting to get their foot in the door and gain experience to jump-start their career!
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shadow experienced staff and gain knowledge and learn the process and techniques in a hospital setting.
- Conduct patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities tailored to patient needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient recovery.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with medical standards.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Mexico (or eligible for NM licensure).
- Bachelor's in physical therapy from an accredited program.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and support patients and families.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
Preferred:
- Any working experience in a medical facility providing physical therapy.
- Strong knowledge of physical therapy techniques, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Desire to excel and work collaboratively with a great team and reside in Carlsbad, NM long-term.
