Salary/Pay Rate: $84,849 - $127,274 per year + Relocation Assistance (case by case) + Sign-On Bonus (case by case)

Schedule: Day Shift, Full-time

This 37-bed unit provides specialized care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures, and the Nurse Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a supportive and healing environment. Job Description: The Nurse Manager of Cardiac Stepdown provides leadership and oversight for the unit's daily operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, individualized patient care. This role involves managing staff, overseeing budgets, promoting continuous performance improvement, and upholding compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Nurse Manager will also foster a positive work environment and promote staff development.

Required Skills:

• BSN
• Texas State RN license or compact license
• 2+ years of recent acute care critical care leadership experience
• BLS/ACLS certification
• Strong understanding of the nursing process and evidence-based practices
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Preferred Skills:

• MSN or Master's degree in a related field
• National Specialty Certification (or plan to achieve within 1 year of hire)
• Experience working in a Magnet or Pathways designated facility
