Civil Engineer with Drainage Design Experience

Qualifications:

• Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Have a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience in civil/site development.
• Experience in developing working drawings for civil site plans (layout, plan and profile, grading, drainage, and paving).
• Experience with planning and design of facility layout and site design projects.
• Drainage design experience is preferred; proficiency with Cascade 2001 and/or ICPR Version 4 is highly desired.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
• Experience with Miami-Dade County design/permitting is preferred but not required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients and project teams.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare civil engineering plans for water and wastewater distribution and conveyance infrastructure. Focus areas include site layout, infrastructure piping, roadways, paving, grading, drainage, and stormwater infrastructure.
• Review contractor submittals for compliance with contract plans and specifications. Evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction.

• ICPR

Additional Details:

• Security clearance is not required.
• Visa candidates will not be considered.
• Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $150,000.
• Full-time position with benefits.
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
• Position is not bonus-eligible, overtime-eligible, or commission-compensated.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Ideal Candidate: Looking for someone with South Florida drainage experience, including Cascade and ICPR.
