Civil Engineer with Drainage Design Experience
Qualifications:
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of directly relevant experience in civil/site development.
- Experience in developing working drawings for civil site plans (layout, plan and profile, grading, drainage, and paving).
- Experience with planning and design of facility layout and site design projects.
- Drainage design experience is preferred; proficiency with Cascade 2001 and/or ICPR Version 4 is highly desired.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD is required.
- Experience with Miami-Dade County design/permitting is preferred but not required.
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients and project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare civil engineering plans for water and wastewater distribution and conveyance infrastructure. Focus areas include site layout, infrastructure piping, roadways, paving, grading, drainage, and stormwater infrastructure.
- Review contractor submittals for compliance with contract plans and specifications. Evaluate requests for information as part of engineering services during construction.

- Base salary ranges from $90,000 to $150,000.
