A growing technology services firm is seeking a dynamic Sage 100 Contractor Manager to take the lead in building and expanding its Sage 100 Contractor practice. This is a high-visibility role for someone who thrives at the intersection of consulting, solution architecture, and client leadership—someone excited to shape a practice while delivering real impact for clients nationwide.


Position Summary

In this role, you will serve as both a hands-on consultant and a strategic leader. You’ll guide clients through successful Sage 100 Contractor implementations, take part in sales discovery and solution design, and ensure each engagement delivers measurable value. As the practice grows, this position will evolve into broader leadership responsibilities, including mentoring team members and refining methodologies.


Strong financial systems knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping clients optimize technology solutions are essential.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Lead Sage 100 Contractor implementation projects from planning and configuration to testing, training, and go-live support.
  • Partner with sales teams during discovery, solution scoping, estimating, and development of statements of work.
  • Support market identification, business development opportunities, and industry networking to grow the practice.
  • Translate client requirements into effective system configurations and provide user-friendly training.
  • Create custom reports, dashboards, and financial outputs aligned to client needs.
  • Advise clients on best practices to maximize the value and usability of the system.
  • Document lessons learned and contribute to improvements in methodologies and internal knowledge resources.
  • Maintain accurate, timely project documentation—including project plans, RAIDD logs, timesheets, and status summaries.
  • Stay informed about product enhancements, implementation methodologies, and technology trends.
  • Support client needs as required and perform additional responsibilities assigned by leadership.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of accounting or financial operations experience with strong knowledge of accounting standards and financial processes.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the reseller or consulting space, ideally with Sage 100 Contractor.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, timelines, and client deliverables.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and client engagement skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to ongoing learning and product expertise.
