If you enjoy leading discovery, designing smart solution approaches and running demos that resonate with both finance and operations teams, this role is built for you. You’ll partner closely with sales and consulting leaders to shape Sage X3 solutions for prospects and customers, translating complex requirements into clear stories, practical designs and confident recommendations.


This is a hands-on, client-facing role for someone who knows how to navigate ERP conversations, ask the right questions and demonstrate Sage X3 in a way that connects business pain points to real workflow improvements.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead curiosity-driven discovery to understand customer goals, constraints and priorities
  • Recommend Sage X3 solution approaches tailored to business process needs across functional areas
  • Build and deliver high-impact demos, including demo scripts and scenarios that evolve as discovery progresses
  • Present effectively to mixed audiences, from small stakeholder groups to full-day sessions with executive and functional attendees
  • Collaborate with sales, consulting managers and delivery teams to refine scope, assumptions and overall solution direction
  • Create solution designs and supporting artifacts such as process flows, high-level estimates, data/process models and functional and technical documentation
  • Participate in early architecture and design reviews, identifying risks and proposing workable paths forward
  • Coordinate with cross-functional resources to resolve issues efficiently and keep pursuits moving
  • Contribute to best practices and new offerings within the Sage X3 practice
  • Support financial objectives through accurate estimating, thoughtful planning and effective handoff into delivery


What We’re Looking For

  • Three or more years of experience with Sage X3 in solution consulting, application consulting, sales engineering or a comparable ERP-focused role
  • Strong pre-sales and demo experience, including discovery, scenario building and presenting to diverse audiences
  • Experience supporting the full lifecycle from early requirements through solution design and into implementation planning
  • Ability to create high-level estimates and scoped approaches with limited or evolving requirements
  • Comfort producing both functional and technical deliverables for internal teams and customer stakeholders
  • Collaborative working style across sales, consulting and delivery teams
  • Willingness to travel within North America as needed
