Dynamics NAV / Business Central Business Systems Analyst

Join a team where you’ll take ownership of a Dynamics NAV environment and play a central role in its evolution to Dynamics 365 Business Central, working across both day-to-day support and ongoing system improvements.


This individual will play a hands-on role in both user support and project initiatives, including a system migration to Business Central. The role requires a blend of functional understanding, technical capability, and strong communication skills, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to improve processes and system performance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for users across Dynamics NAV and Business Central environments
  • Support ERP initiatives, including system upgrades and implementations, with a focus on data cleanup, testing, and user training
  • Configure and maintain Business Central to align with evolving business needs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate and implement system and process improvements
  • Troubleshoot issues, gather requirements, and coordinate solutions with internal teams and external partners
  • Document business processes, system changes, and support procedures to ensure continuity and scalability
  • Assist in report design and development to support operational and financial visibility
  • Track and communicate progress on projects, enhancements, and support requests
  • Help manage timelines and priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Experience supporting, maintaining, or enhancing ERP systems in a business environment
  • Strong understanding of business processes and how they translate into system workflows
  • Ability to document processes and communicate system impacts across departments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with integrations and interfaces involving Business Central
  • Exposure to warehouse operations, inventory management, or related systems (barcoding, scanning, shipping/receiving, cycle counts)
  • Experience supporting reporting and data analysis needs within an ERP environment

Additional Details

  • This is a remote position within the United States
  • Occasional travel may be required on a limited basis
  • This role reports to IT leadership
