A growing software company in the Microsoft ecosystem is looking for a Sales Engineer to help drive presales efforts, lead tailored product demonstrations and serve as the bridge between technical capabilities and real-world business outcomes.


This role is ideal for someone who enjoys customer interaction, discovery conversations, demos and problem-solving — someone who can confidently explain ERP workflows to both technical and non-technical audiences without turning every conversation into a deep consulting session.


You do not need to come from a traditional Sales Engineer background. Strong Business Central consultants who naturally gravitate toward demos, workshops, customer conversations and solution positioning are highly encouraged to consider this opportunity.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading discovery and qualification conversations with prospects and partners
  • Delivering engaging, tailored product demonstrations based on customer workflows
  • Translating technical ERP capabilities into practical business value
  • Supporting sales teams throughout the presales cycle
  • Helping scope solutions and support solution recommendations
  • Participating in webinars, workshops, partner enablement and customer presentations
  • Collaborating closely with product, sales and implementation teams
  • Becoming a trusted product and solution expert within the organization


What They’re Looking For

  • Strong Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience
  • Background in consulting, presales, solution engineering, demos or customer-facing ERP work
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to simplify technical concepts for business users
  • Strong discovery and relationship-building instincts
  • Curious, adaptable and comfortable learning complex workflows
  • Someone who enjoys variety, collaboration and customer interaction
  • Ability to balance technical credibility with strong interpersonal skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience with ERP ISVs or industry-specific Business Central solutions
  • Experience creating customized demos or proof-of-concept presentations
  • Exposure to operational, service-oriented, field-based or asset-heavy business environments
  • Webinar, workshop or partner enablement experience

  • Approximately 10–20% travel
