If you like building real hardware, bringing up boards on the bench, debugging issues that span schematics through system integration and seeing your work move quickly from concept to a working platform, this role is for you.
We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to join an R&D team developing a sophisticated electromechanical system with many integrated electronic assemblies. You’ll own meaningful portions of the electronics lifecycle, from PCB design and release to hands-on bring-up, integration, troubleshooting and test. This is an execution-focused position for someone who likes to stay close to the hardware, move fast and deliver practical solutions.
This position is on-site in Lincoln, NE. No travel is required.

- Create schematics and layouts using PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
- Coordinate fabrication and assembly of prototype and production boards
- Perform board bring-up, debugging and validation using standard lab equipment
- Document designs clearly and support release packages and engineering records
- Integrate electronics into a larger system and support system-level testing and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to translate requirements into practical, testable hardware solutions
- Support iterative improvements to existing designs as new needs and learnings emerge
