We are seeking a hands-on Electrical Engineer to join an R&D team developing a sophisticated electromechanical system with many integrated electronic assemblies. You’ll own meaningful portions of the electronics lifecycle, from PCB design and release to hands-on bring-up, integration, troubleshooting and test. This is an execution-focused position for someone who likes to stay close to the hardware, move fast and deliver practical solutions.

This position is on-site in Lincoln, NE. No travel is required.

  • Create schematics and layouts using PCB design tools (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
  • Coordinate fabrication and assembly of prototype and production boards
  • Perform board bring-up, debugging and validation using standard lab equipment
  • Document designs clearly and support release packages and engineering records
  • Integrate electronics into a larger system and support system-level testing and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineers to translate requirements into practical, testable hardware solutions
  • Support iterative improvements to existing designs as new needs and learnings emerge

  • Demonstrated experience designing PCBs in a professional environment
  • Proficiency with at least one major PCB design platform (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, or similar)
  • Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design
  • Experience working with microcontrollers (ARM, AVR, PIC, ESP32, or similar)
