Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Acumatica Manufacturing Consultant to join a growing ERP consulting team. This individual will work directly with clients to understand their manufacturing and distribution operations, identify opportunities for process improvement and lead successful Acumatica implementations.


The ideal candidate brings deep functional knowledge of Acumatica Manufacturing, strong Distribution expertise and the ability to independently manage complex implementation activities from discovery through go-live and post-implementation support.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Acumatica Manufacturing and Distribution implementations, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, training and go-live support.
  • Work directly with clients to evaluate manufacturing processes and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency.
  • Configure and implement Acumatica Manufacturing functionality, including Bills of Material (BOM), routings, production orders, material requirements planning (MRP), scheduling and manufacturing costing.
  • Support related Distribution functionality, including inventory management, purchasing, sales orders, warehouse operations and order fulfillment.
  • Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate with technical resources on customizations, integrations and reporting.
  • Lead client workshops, demonstrations and end-user training.
  • Troubleshoot functional issues and provide guidance on Acumatica best practices.
  • Collaborate with other consultants, developers and project resources throughout the implementation lifecycle.
  • Build strong client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on manufacturing and distribution processes.


Required Qualifications

  • Significant hands-on experience implementing Acumatica ERP in a consulting or VAR environment.
  • Deep functional expertise with Acumatica Manufacturing, including production management, BOMs, routings, MRP, scheduling and costing.
  • Strong knowledge of Acumatica Distribution, including Inventory, Sales Orders and Purchase Orders.
  • Experience leading or independently managing full-cycle Acumatica implementations.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, workflows and business processes.
  • Ability to conduct discovery sessions, translate requirements into system configurations and recommend process improvements.
  • Experience with data migration, testing, user training and go-live support.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote consulting team.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 15-20% as needed for client engagements.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Acumatica Manufacturing Business Consultant and/or Distribution-related certifications.
  • Experience with discrete manufacturing, make-to-order, make-to-stock or mixed-mode manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Acumatica Generic Inquiries, dashboards, Business Events and Report Designer.
  • Experience with third-party integrations, warehouse management systems, e-commerce or EDI.
  • Background in manufacturing operations, supply chain management or production planning.
