The Role

  As the engineering lead, you will be responsible for:

• Building and leading a high-performing engineering team, including hiring, recruiting, and training.
• Scoping out timelines and milestones to ensure the engineering team delivers projects on time.
• Securing any necessary resources for the engineering team.
• Setting the technical direction and strategy for the engineering team.

Qualifications & Skills Required 

• Proven experience leading an engineering team that has successfully built and brought high-volume products to market.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate engineering teams.
• Prior experience in a startup-like environment, showcasing adaptability, forward-thinking, and the ability to build from the ground up without excessive bureaucracy.
• Preferably comes from the HVAC space (not required).

• Previously excelled in an early-stage company - you know how to navigate and be successful with limited oversight
