About Our Client

Roosevelt Talent is working with ChargeScape, a high-growth EV charging software company formed by some of the world's largest automakers (BMW, Ford, Honda, and Nissan, with more joining soon). Based in Austin, TX, ChargeScape's platform acts as the connective tissue between EV drivers and power utilities, using cloud-based commands to schedule charging for the most grid-friendly, low-carbon hours while putting money back in drivers' wallets. ChargeScape is well capitalized and expanding its product team to build out its vehicle-grid integration platform.

The Role

Reporting to the VP of Product and working in person at the Austin, TX headquarters, this person will oversee products spanning the web portals for utility clients and OEM partners, the API suite, and new offerings for EV fleets, multi-unit dwellings (MUDs), and bidirectional charging (V2X). They will define and execute the product roadmap with leadership and the commercial teams, write clear AI-assisted product requirements documents (PRDs), partner with engineering to build, test, and launch, gather feedback from drivers, partners, and clients, define success metrics, support sales on deal scoping and RFPs, and track market and competitor trends.

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • 4+ years of progressive software product management experience, ideally in the EV charging space (or at fast-growing, successful tech companies)
  • Previous startup experience (non-negotiable; later-stage startups count)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach and comfort working directly with data
  • Experience using AI tools and systems to speed up and automate workflows
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain product decisions to engineers, partners, and leadership
  • Sound judgment when making tradeoffs with incomplete information in a fast-changing industry
  • A bias toward action, high energy, and the drive to see work through to results
  • Based in, or willing to relocate to, Austin, TX (in-person role)

Nice to have:

  • Experience with managed charging, fleet charging, bidirectional charging (V2X), or charging in multi-unit dwellings (MUDs)
  • Experience at an automotive OEM or EVSE manufacturer
  • Product experience with utility-facing software, web portals, or API products
  • Experience supporting sales with deal scoping and RFP responses

Benefits

  • A competitive salary and bonus, with total cash compensation of $120,000 - $150,000 per year
  • A comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, 401(k), and unlimited PTO
  • The opportunity to own a product and shape the direction of a fast-growing, automaker-backed business

Approximate Process

  • Expect a concise interview process (we’re looking for people soon)
  • Speak with us (Roosevelt) for a screening,
