Client Overview:

Lauren is a labor and delivery nurse. She is looking for an awesome unicorn who can help her with social media, administrative, and customer service tasks. 


Client Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 10 hours weekly
  • Must be able to work any 2 hour-block between 8am and 12pm Eastern Time (US)
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Must be solution-oriented and a self-starter 
  • Quick learner who is curious, adaptable, and genuinely invested in their work
  • Females are preferred, but males are welcome to apply, too! :)


Responsibilities/Tasks:


Must-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Must Be Proficient In):


These are the tasks the VA needs to handle independently and confidently from day one:


Administrative Assistance and Email Support:

  • Manage and organize day-to-day administrative tasks that support growing client load
  • Support email marketing efforts using Brevo
  • Assist with outreach and communication to expand and maintain a national birth center directory
  • Help manage and organize updates related to the birth center database and ensure information is current
  • Support coordination related to monthly meetings and ongoing directory-related activities
  • Use Microsoft Outlook for email communication and organization


Social Media Support:

  • Manage and support social media activities across LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram
  • Assist in content posting, scheduling, and general platform upkeep
  • Support blog publishing and updates using Wix
  • Assist with basic website upkeep and content updates


Nice-to-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Can Learn Over Time):


These tasks are valuable but can be trained on the job:

  • Assist with miscellaneous client-related tasks as needed
  • Support additional small projects depending on workload and priorities
  • Provide general help across ongoing initiatives and operational tasks as they arise
