Client Overview:

Abby is the co-founder of an ice cream shop. She is looking for an awesome unicorn to help with content distribution for her company and their new podcast brand which is launching soon.


Client Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 20 hours weekly, Monday-Friday, any 4-hour block with at least 1-hour overlap during 10am-5pm CT 
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
  • Must be female


Responsibilities/Tasks:


Must-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Must Be Proficient In):


These are the tasks the VA needs to handle independently and confidently from day one:


Social Media Management & Content Distribution

Note: The client has a separate person handling the local channel. The VA is responsible for the national channel only.

  • Distribute content across the national brand channel on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube. Tag the right people in posts when needed.
  • Reshare content from the local channel to the national channel
  • Pull snippets from the podcast for social media content once live
  • Adapt and tailor content for each social media platform guided by the brand voice, following brand guidelines including fonts, colors, Brand Voice Anchors, and Content Creator Guidelines


Podcast Support

Note: The company will be launching a new podcast this July. The VA will handle content distribution and email end to end.

  • Help with the podcast launching needs
  • Create and distribute promotional content for the podcast across social media channels
  • Manage email campaigns and create newsletters for the podcast using Stripo
  • Setup and Implement email flows and automations for the podcast
  • Research and support podcast growth and revenue opportunities, including speaking engagements, podcast guest appearances, sponsorship outreach, affiliate partnerships, and related collaborations


Nice-to-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Can Learn Over Time):


These tasks are valuable but can be trained on the job:


  • Experience with Shopify, Klaviyo, Stripo, is a plus
  • Help streamline content distribution workflows and build processes over time
  • Help with basic updating of the Sugar and Grit website when needed
