Client Overview:
Rachel, one of our clients, is looking to add an Advertising VA to handle the tactical execution of Amazon advertising campaigns, working directly under an Advertising Strategist.
Client Requirements:
- Must be able to work 20 hours weekly
- Must be able to work any 4-hour block with at least 2–3 hours overlap from 9AM to 5PM Eastern Time (US)
- Must have strong written and verbal communication
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
- Must have at least 1-2 years of Amazon PPC experience or hands-on campaign management/support experience
- Proficient in Google Sheets and Google Docs
Responsibilities/Tasks:
Must-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Must Be Proficient In):
These are the tasks the VA needs to handle independently and confidently from day one:
Amazon PPC Campaign Execution:
- Build and launch DSP and Search campaigns using Amazon Ads Console and DSP
- Create and organize refined campaign structures
- Execute Sponsored Brand and Sponsored Brand Video campaigns
- Perform keyword research and search term mining using Helium 10 and/or Jungle Scout
- Handle backend keyword optimization
- Manage negative keywords and negative brand management
- Use AI-assisted tools (ChatGPT / Claude) for keyword cleaning and organization
Campaign Management and Monitoring:
- Handle campaign optimization, bid management, and pacing
- Handle day-to-day account monitoring and issue resolution
- Support workflow organization and campaign launch
- Coordinate with teammates via Slack
Nice-to-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Can Learn Over Time):
These tasks are valuable but can be trained on the job:
- Learn and execute Pacvue rule creation, automation setup, and monitoring (prior Pacvue experience is a PLUS but not required)
- Support DSP creative coordination and trafficking
- Assist with Sponsored Brand and Sponsored Brand Video creative coordination
- Prepare monthly performance summaries
- Support internal reporting and tracker processes
- Learn and apply advanced campaign optimization workflows
- Assist with creative asset coordination with internal teams
