Client Overview:

Melanie, one of our clients, is looking to add an awesome unicorn to help her with podcast editing, social media, graphic design, and website updates. 


Client Requirements:

  • Must be able to work 20 hours weekly
  • Must be able to work any 4-hour block between 6am and 5pm Arizona Mountain Time (US)
  • Must have strong English communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities independently


Responsibilities/Tasks:


Must-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Must Be Proficient In):


These are the tasks the VA needs to handle independently and confidently from day one:


Podcast Editing and Publishing

  • Edit, upload, and publish podcast episodes
  • Repurpose podcast content for other platforms
  • Upload podcast-related content to YouTube


Social Media and Content Support

  • Create graphics and content assets for social media
  • Help repurpose podcast episodes, videos, and other content into social posts
  • Create content that is aligned with Melanie’s brand
  • Upload podcast episodes and videos from speaking engagements to YouTube (YouTube experience is nice to have!)
  • Add titles, descriptions, and basic formatting


Graphic Design Support

  • Create various graphic deliverables such as:
  • Podcast graphics
  • Speaker sheet
  • Freebie or lead magnet design
  • Social media graphics


Nice-to-Have Experience (Responsibilities You Can Learn Over Time):


These tasks are valuable but can be trained on the job:


Website Updates

  • Update pages, links, graphics, or content as instructed (experience in WordPress - Showit is nice to have!)
  • Upload content to the website


Manuscript Support

  • Create or format manuscript documents
  • Color-code manuscripts according to Melanie’s instructions
