We're seeking a Mining Engineer to take the lead on all production engineering activities at a renowned gold operation. This hands-on role is ideal for a skilled mining engineer with strong underground drill & blast experience and the ability to mentor and guide others.

Key Responsibilities

• Design drill and blast patterns and develop charge plans
• Manage daily and weekly production planning and data tracking
• Prepare stope and panel notes, and backfill documentation
• Collaborate with operations to support safe, efficient production
• Identify remnant mining opportunities and optimise access to reserves
• Conduct audits, reviews and assist with annual budgeting
• Maintain compliance with statutory, safety and environmental standards

To be successful in this role you will require:

• Degree in Mining Engineering or relevant qualification
• 2 years +underground production engineering experience
• Proficiency with Deswik
• Strong planning, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Sound understanding of drill & blast design.
