Small Projects Team Leader
We are seeking an experienced Small Projects Team Leader for a leadership opportunity within a well-established engineering and construction business delivering water and wastewater treatment projects across New Zealand.
This role will see you leading a multidisciplinary team delivering multiple concurrent small design & build projects, from initial scoping and concept design through to construction, commissioning and handover.
Based in either Auckland, Christchurch or Waikato, you will work across office and site environments, providing technical, commercial and delivery oversight while building strong client and stakeholder relationships.

To be successful in this role you will require:
• 5–10+ years’ experience in engineering, design and/or construction project management
• 5+ years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment projects
• Proven experience delivering multiple concurrent design & build projects
• Strong understanding of NZS 3910, 3916, FIDIC or similar contract forms
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, forecasts and project margins
• Experience leading small multidisciplinary teams
• Strong knowledge of construction Health & Safety requirements and legislation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build lasting client relationships
• A tertiary engineering qualification (BE or equivalent)
