Civil Surveyor – Canterbury

We are seeking an experienced Surveyor to work on large scale Civil Construction project north of Christchurch. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of an ambitious, supportive team delivering some of the region's most challenging and rewarding projects. This will be for a minimum 2 year project.

About the Role

As a key member of our surveying team, you will be responsible for managing your own projects and running sites independently. You’ll work closely with Engineers and PM's, contributing to the success of a large scale and complex construction project.

What We’re Looking For

• A self-sufficient surveyor confident in managing jobs on their own
• Strong civil/construction surveying experience (ideally 5+ years’ NZ experience, but not essential)
• Proficiency with modern New Zealand surveying software, including 12d, Civil3D
• Previous experience with civil, earthworks, drainage and pavements ideal, but not essential
• Skilled in using modern surveying equipment (Total Stations, GPS, scanners, drones, etc.)
• Ability to manage and deliver projects to a high standard
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A collaborative mindset, while being comfortable working independently
