We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Junior Management Accountant to join the finance team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing the month-end process, supporting the financial controllership of group entities, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting. This position offers exposure to a wide range of financial operations, internal projects, and group-level accounting activities.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute the Group month-end close process
  • Prepare journals and reconciliations for balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Ensure accurate and timely closure of books each month
  • Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and accompanying commentary
  • Conduct analytical reviews, balance sheet substantiation, and transaction analysis
  • Support revenue and cost analysis activities
  • Assist with statutory filing obligations, including VAT and corporate tax submissions
  • Participate in internal finance projects - assisting with scope definition, planning, coordination, and delivery
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for accounting processes, record-keeping, and reporting timelines
  • Assist with the implementation and monitoring of group policies and procedures
  • Support external audit processes for Group companies
  • Maintain awareness of IFRS, tax legislation, and regulatory requirements to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Provide ad-hoc financial support to the Head of Department and the Group Financial Controller as required



Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Studying towards ACCA/ACA (advantage)
  • Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in an accounting role
  • Strong understanding of IFRS principles
  • Excellent organisational, analytical, and time-management skills
  • Ability to meet strict monthly deadlines
  • Strong sense of initiative with the ability to work both independently and within a team
  • High level of computer literacy and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent command of English (verbal and written); Russian language is an advantage


Desirable

  • Experience within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge or experience using SAP S/4HANA
