Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Work-mode: Hybrid (4 days from the office and 1 day from home)
Location: Singapore or Sydney, Australia
Salary: AUD $180,000 – $270,000 / SGD $165,000 – $235,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of eFX liquidity management, including sourcing, optimising, and monitoring liquidity from multiple bank and non-bank providers
- Develop and execute liquidity strategies to ensure high-quality pricing, execution, and optimal market access
- Monitor spreads, market conditions, and client flows to enhance liquidity pools and mitigate risks
- Identify and respond swiftly to abusive trading behaviours such as latency arbitrage or toxic flow
- Manage B2B liquidity relationships and ensure service excellence for institutional clients
- Manage prime brokerage relationships, including negotiating terms, managing credit lines, and ensuring operational efficiency
- Coordinate with Risk, Operations, and Finance to align PB workflows and collateral management processes
- Partner with Quant, Sales, Risk, Integration, and Technology teams to deliver best-in-class liquidity solutions
- Oversee integration of new pricing streams, client FIX onboarding, and platform connections
- Serve as the senior point of contact for all liquidity-related counterparties and key institutional clients
- Maintain robust liquidity risk monitoring frameworks in line with regulatory requirements
- Implement strong controls in collaboration with Risk and Compliance teams
- Use Python, SQL, and basic coding skills to extract and analyse historical price ticks and liquidity data
- Identify and deliver enhancements to liquidity analytics, infrastructure, and connectivity
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing liquidity team
- Represent the business at industry events, conferences, and in media engagements
- Promote the company’s liquidity offering to prospective institutional partners
Requirements
- 10–15+ years’ experience in the FX industry, with deep expertise in e-trading and liquidity management
- Proven track record in managing relationships with liquidity providers, prime brokers, and institutional clients
- Strong network within the liquidity provider and prime brokerage ecosystem
- Solid experience working with dealing teams, including quant/systematic desks
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and basic coding for data extraction and analysis
- Ability to detect and mitigate abusive trading patterns in real time
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (postgraduate qualifications such as CFA or MBA are advantageous)
- Experience managing liquidity operations across multiple APAC jurisdictions
