Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-investigatory assessments and prepare documentation required for filing cases
- Independently manage civil and commercial litigation proceedings at all stages
- Prepare pleadings, written submissions, and court documentation
- Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings and arbitration proceedings
- Handle mediation and alternative dispute resolution cases
- Structure, draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on dispute-related matters
- Manage case files, deadlines, and client communication efficiently
- Ensure high standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical practice
Requirements
- University Law Degree (LPC, Bar qualification, or LLM will be considered an advantage)
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association
- Minimum 5+ years’ substantial hands-on litigation experience
- Proven ability to independently handle court proceedings, including preparation of pleadings and attendance at hearings
- Strong experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Greek and English
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
- High level of independence and professional judgement
- Valid driving licence and own vehicle
