Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: Remote (UK-based)

Location: United Kingdom (travel required for trade shows and client meetings)

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) + commission + mileage allowance

Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with existing distributors and wholesale accounts
  • Identify, approach, and secure new clients to expand the company’s market presence
  • Develop a strategic approach to sales planning, targeting, and execution
  • Analyse sales data and provide actionable insights to drive growth and inform forecasting
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences across the U
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and account management
  • Leverage social media and digital platforms to generate leads and promote brand visibility
  • Contribute to the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
  • Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs



Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, ideally selling into distributors and wholesalers
  • Previous experience in the gardening or horticulture industry is highly desirable
  • Merchant account management experience is an advantage
  • Strong understanding of sales forecasting and data analysis
  • Ability to take a strategic approach to sales, including planning and execution
  • Confident in using social media platforms to drive engagement and sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently in a remote environment
  • Willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events
