Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and qualifications) + commission + mileage allowance

Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with existing distributors and wholesale accounts
- Identify, approach, and secure new clients to expand the company’s market presence
- Develop a strategic approach to sales planning, targeting, and execution
- Analyse sales data and provide actionable insights to drive growth and inform forecasting
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and conferences across the U
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and account management
- Leverage social media and digital platforms to generate leads and promote brand visibility
- Contribute to the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports
- Provide feedback to management on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, ideally selling into distributors and wholesalers
- Previous experience in the gardening or horticulture industry is highly desirable
- Merchant account management experience is an advantage
- Strong understanding of sales forecasting and data analysis
- Ability to take a strategic approach to sales, including planning and execution
- Confident in using social media platforms to drive engagement and sales
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently in a remote environment
- Willingness to travel across the UK to meet clients and attend industry events
