Location: Nicosia, Cyprus
Salary: Up to €40,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Our client is a growing professional services firm based in Cyprus, providing high-quality tax, audit, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. As the firm continues to expand, it is seeking experienced professionals who wish to grow alongside the business and play a key role in strengthening its tax offering.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare corporate and personal tax declarations, including calculation and settlement of relevant taxes
- Handle compliance-related tax work for a portfolio of clients
- Provide tax support during tax audits, including the preparation of documentation, data, and correspondence with tax authorities
- Communicate directly with clients regarding tax obligations, deadlines, and compliance requirements
- Plan and manage workload effectively to meet statutory deadlines
- Monitor local and international tax developments and provide updates to management and colleagues
- Research technical tax matters and handle ad-hoc tax issues as they arise
- Liaise with the Cyprus Tax Department on various tax-related matters
Requirements
- College or University Degree (preferred)
- ACCA / ACA qualified or at the final stages of qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ experience within a tax practice or similar environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Diligent, methodical, and reliable approach to work
- Fluency in Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office; knowledge of CaseWare and CaseWare Tax Forms is an advantage
