Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per annum (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage complex business and commercial litigation matters, including declaratory judgment actions, breach of contract, tortious interference, and related disputes
  • Develop case strategies, oversee motion practice, and prepare trial materials
  • Draft, review, and argue pleadings, motions, and briefs in state and federal courts
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and ensure high-quality written advocacy
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients on complex and high-stakes litigation matters
  • Communicate case developments, risks, and strategic recommendations clearly and effectively
  • Partner with colleagues and trial teams to deliver exceptional client service
  • Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the firm’s knowledge-sharing and best practices
  • Ensure all litigation activities align with ethical standards and procedural requirements
  • Proactively identify potential legal risks and advise clients accordingly


Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active Texas Bar License (required)
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in litigation, ideally focused on business or commercial disputes
  • Demonstrated success handling declaratory judgment actions and complex civil litigation
  • Exceptional research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Strong strategic thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage cases independently while collaborating within a team
  • Experience in labor and employment law will be considered an advantage
