Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume docket of complex personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement
- Serve as lead counsel in depositions, mediations, hearings, and jury trials
- Develop and execute litigation strategies designed to maximise case outcomes
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, trial briefs, and other legal documents
- Oversee case management in collaboration with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
- Represent clients in both state and federal court proceedings as required
- Stay current with developments in personal injury law and relevant case precedents
Requirements
- Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar (Texas Bar admission is a strong plus)
- Minimum 4 years of personal injury litigation and trial experience
- Proven track record of success in complex personal injury or tort cases
- Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom presentation skills
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
- First-chair jury trial experience
- Federal court licensure and/or appellate experience
- Multi-jurisdiction litigation experience (New York and Texas preferred)
