Responsibilities

• Manage a high-volume docket of complex personal injury cases from intake through trial or settlement
• Serve as lead counsel in depositions, mediations, hearings, and jury trials
• Develop and execute litigation strategies designed to maximise case outcomes
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery responses, trial briefs, and other legal documents
• Oversee case management in collaboration with paralegals, support staff, and fellow attorneys
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Represent clients in both state and federal court proceedings as required
• Stay current with developments in personal injury law and relevant case precedents

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the New York State Bar (Texas Bar admission is a strong plus)
• Minimum 4 years of personal injury litigation and trial experience
• Proven track record of success in complex personal injury or tort cases
• Strong oral advocacy, negotiation, and courtroom presentation skills
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, client-centered environment
• First-chair jury trial experience
• Federal court licensure and/or appellate experience
• Multi-jurisdiction litigation experience (New York and Texas preferred)
