Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5:30pm, Friday from 8am to 2pm

With a close-knit team of approximately 15 professionals and a growing client base, the firm provides audit, tax, accounting, advisory, and financial reporting services to both local and international clients.

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the firm’s accounting function, overseeing financial reporting, month-end processes, client engagements, and supporting junior team members. This position suits a hands-on professional who enjoys responsibility, client interaction, and contributing to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end accounting activities, including reconciliations and journal entries
- Prepare financial analysis and reports for management review
- Generate financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS
- Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective solutions
- Coordinate and monitor accounting engagements to ensure timely delivery
- Establish and maintain primary working relationships with clients
- Review existing accounting procedures and recommend improvements
- Assist with audit-related activities and the preparation of supporting documentation
- Prepare budgets and support planning activities
- Supervise, guide, train, and provide performance feedback to junior staff
- Ensure compliance with indirect tax requirements, including VAT and VIES
Requirements
- Minimum 2–3 years’ relevant accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of IFRS
- Experience with VAT and VIES (essential)
- Very good knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and accounting software
- Excellent command of Greek and English (written and spoken)
- Strong organisational, leadership, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to mentor and support others
