Salary: Up to 600,000 AED per annum + bonus based on performance.


Our client is a leading international financial institution providing bespoke private banking and wealth management services to high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients across global markets. The firm offers an exceptional platform for relationship managers and senior private bankers to deliver tailored investment, credit, and wealth planning solutions within a dynamic, client-centric environment.


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Private Banker to manage, develop, and grow a portfolio of private clients and entities in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead with advice, delivering comprehensive financial and investment strategies while maintaining long-term, commercially rewarding relationships.


The role focuses on building and nurturing high-value client relationships through discretionary portfolio management, self-directed investments, lending solutions, and holistic wealth planning.


Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, providing holistic advice across banking, investments, wealth planning, and credit solutions
  • Develop, retain, and grow client relationships through proactive engagement, tailored advice, and strategic financial planning
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience while ensuring all activities align with internal compliance, risk management, and regulatory frameworks
  • Conduct annual client suitability reviews and risk assessments in accordance with the firm’s policies and regulatory standards
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities across the group’s full range of services, including discretionary investment management, lending, and custody solutions
  • Demonstrate proactive business development, expanding the client base through introductions, referrals, and networking within target markets
  • Maintain a deep understanding of global markets, cross-border wealth structures, and tax-efficient investment strategies
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including portfolio management, compliance, and credit departments, to deliver seamless client service
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth targets by achieving personal financial objectives and supporting the wider business strategy
  • Mentor and support junior bankers or team members, sharing expertise and best practices



Requirements

  • Extensive experience in private banking or wealth management, managing HNW/UHNW clients
  • Proven ability to build and manage a book of high-value client relationships
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, discretionary portfolio management, lending solutions, and cross-border wealth planning
  • Demonstrated success in business development and achieving revenue growth targets
  • Experience working within regulated jurisdictions, with a strong understanding of compliance and risk frameworks
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client presentation skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities or experience mentoring private banking teams


Qualifications

  • Level 6 Investment Qualification (e.g., CISI Chartered Wealth Manager, CII Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning, or equivalent)
  • CeMAP qualification (UK Mortgage Advisor) – mandatory
  • Active Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and ongoing CPD in line with regulatory requirements
  • Chartered status (or commitment to achieving it) will be considered an advantage
