Salary: Up to €65,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and qualifications)
Responsibilities
Draft or improve agreements, contracts and other legal documents and ensure they are aligned with the relevant legislation
Provide expert and professional legal advice, guidance and support to ensure that the legal and reputational risk faced are identified, reported and mitigated
Consulting and handling all corporate legal processes
Conduct legal research on various matters and proactively identify legal risks
Advise the Company on potential legal risks
Review any new applicable laws and regulations, and advise how these are affecting the company’s operations
Implementation of the Internal Regulations and procedures of the Company
Advise on employment labour law and other legal matters, involving head office as well as global offices
Providing guidance and training to staff and management on legal and other related matters
Assisting with general and varied queries affecting the business
Conduct periodic audits on matters relating to regulatory and employment frameworks
Carries out any further duties assigned by their line manager
Report on department activities and performance to the operations manager
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Law
3+ years of experience in a managerial role within the industry
CySEC Advanced certification and CySEC AML certification will be considered an advantage
Ability to use independent judgement
Detailed knowledge of laws and regulations affecting business operations
Ability to interpret and advice on the application of various laws
Excellent spoken and written Greek or English communication skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality assurance
Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a dynamic environment
